Celebrating Craftsmanship

We are thrilled to share the incredible achievement of Clement Le Pelley, an apprentice at C A Duquemin Ltd, who has recently made waves in the carpentry world. Clement showcased his exceptional skills by crafting a softwood pivoting sash window for the prestigious Carpenters' Craft Competition. This national competition, organized by The Institute of Carpenters and recognized by The Carpenters' Company in London, highlights the finest talents in the field.

The Carpenters' Company, a City of London Livery Company, boasts a rich history, having received its first royal charter in 1477 and a coat of arms in 1466. Being recognised by such a venerable institution is a testament to Clement's dedication and craftsmanship.

Clement's work not only demonstrates his technical prowess but also his commitment to preserving and advancing traditional carpentry techniques. His achievement is a source of pride for all of us at C A Duquemin and an inspiration to aspiring carpenters everywhere.

We extend our sincere gratitude to The Guernsey Institute for their invaluable support. Their guidance and resources have played a crucial role in Clement Le Pelley's success. Thank you for being an essential part of this journey!
